Ponix Farm Equipment

General Terms

Grow Lights: Energy-efficient and long-lasting, LEDs emit specific wavelengths tailored for plant growth. They produce less heat and can be customized for different growth stages. Considered artificial light sources, grow lights are particularly useful for indoor gardening, greenhouse cultivation, and extending the growing season in colder climates.

Grow Towers: Vertical gardening columns that utilize gravity to help create a rain effect through the center for growing plants in a nutrient-rich water solution without soil. These towers maximize space efficiency, making them ideal for urban farming settings or areas with limited space.

Ports: Often referred to as hydroponic pods or planting ports, are individual planting locations within a hydroponic setup designed to hold and support plants in a nutrient solution. Each port typically features a growing medium or support structure that allows plant roots to access the nutrient-rich water.Rack:

Water Pump: A mechanical device used to circulate nutrient-rich water in hydroponic systems. Its primary function is to deliver the nutrient solution from the bottom reservoir up to the top shower so that water may trickle down to the plant roots, ensuring they receive the necessary moisture and nutrients for optimal growth.

Water Reservoir: The container at the bottom of our growing system used to hold the nutrient solution in a hydroponic system. It serves as the source of water and nutrients that are delivered to the plants' roots.

Water Distribution Line: This is a crucial component responsible for delivering nutrient-rich water to the plants. The water distribution system ensures that each plant receives an adequate supply of water and nutrients in an efficient and uniform manner. The main distribution line is the primary pipeline that transports the nutrient solution from the reservoir to the various sections of the hydroponic system. From the main supply line, smaller distribution lines branch out to deliver water to individual towers.

Frame: A steel frame with wheels at the base that is a structural framework designed to securely hold and support various components of a Ponix indoor hydroponic growing setup, such as pipes, reservoirs, lights, and other system elements. Steel is used for this purpose because it is strong, durable, and resistant to corrosion, which is important in the humid and water-rich environment of hydroponics.
